Congratulations to Cilton! He beat out stiff competition to win the Best Breakout Male Lead Performance at the Action on Film International Film Festival! We were in competition with a lot of well-done films, and we are extremely honored to have been nominated in such a dynamic film festival (we also really enjoyed the 75 degree weather).

We are thrilled to announce the official world premiere of Hardball:
All Balls Don't Bounce at the Action on Film International Film
Festival, in Los Angeles, California! The AOF International Fest is a
well-established, weeklong film festival specializing in action movies
from around the world. Given the international subject matter and
intense action of Hardball, we can't imagine a more appropriate
premiere.
What's more, Hardball: All Balls Don't Bounce has been nominated
for 4 awards in the festival! That's right - out of over 3000 films
submitted, 250 are being shown, and 5 are nominated in each catagory.
Hardball has been nominated for:
Best Guerilla Film (budgets under 100k)
Best Male Breakout Lead
Best Choreography
Best Action Sequence
We
are proud and excited to have received these nominations, and we want
to extend a thank you and congratulations to everyone involved with the
project. None of this would be possible without our amazing cast,
crew, and supporters. A special congratulations goes out to Cilton
Beard III (Hardball) for his nomination as Best Male Beakout Lead, and
for his work as an action star and choreographer in the fight scenes.
This was Cilton's first leading role in a feature film, and he knocked
it out of the park.
We are having our premiere screening Thursday, July 31, at the
Laemmle Theater in Pasadena, California. The awards dinner is Thursday
evening, and we will keep you posted on how we do.
Regardless
of the prizes, we are so thrilled to be making our world premiere here
in LA at the Action On Film International Festival!
